Professional Experience:
1992-Current
After graduating from The University of Wisconsin in 1996 and serving In the US Army, Corey
started his first career teaching in Milwaukee Public Schools from 1993-1998 in a program
called Troops to Teachers. After 5 years of teaching, he decided change careers and to go back to
school for a degree in Construction Management. He graduated in 2000 From the University of
WI-Madison and obtained a degree in Construction Management and ROTC (Reserve Officer
Training Corp.) and was commissioned in the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. Corey began
working as the Foreman for a property management company called Shorewest Realtors in
Milwaukee, WI. It was here he received his realtor’s license. In 2006 Corey was called to active
duty and served as a Captain for the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82 Airborne Division. Corey
left the military for good in 2009 and went back to working as a realtor and General Manager for
Shorewest Realtors until 2012.
In July of 2012, Corey decided to move to California after getting married to a woman from
California. He took a job as the General Manager for a real estate company called SKB
Properties in Los Angeles, CA. During his tenure Corey he negotiated deal with contractors and
service providers, planning and directing the daily operations of commercial & residential
properties overseeing all staff, budgets, operations, and total revenue of all the portfolios for the
company. His goal was to meet the financial objectives of the owners and management.
In January 2021 Corey was then hired by Trumark as a Property Supervisor. He currently
oversees 52 properties and has brought many years of experience to the Trumark Team.
Corey moved to Glendale in January 2021. He loves attending Dodger Games and Los Angeles
Rams games, concerts and traveling with the family in his boat in Marina Del Ray
